The Power of Youth Team would just like to thank the whole Great Lakes staff for all their help last Saturday.  We are looking forward to the next project, and another race day at the track.

76 Nova Raffle (1/1/2010)
The next step for the Power of Youth, Inc. is to raise funds for the next project.  We need to raise $75,000 before the next project can start.  Of course, the more we raise the more opportunities we can offer the students. 

The raffle will begin February 1, 2010 and the drawing will be held on July 18, 2010 in Joliet, IL at the Route 66 Raceway.  You may purchase tickets  by calling Jon at 262-327-4011 or by visiting one of the listed events.  The car will be on display at the locations listed below.  Check back often, locations are added frequently!

This is a 1976 Nova that came from Arizona.  Seven teenagers from five different high schools took this project from start to finish.  For a complete pictorial of the 1976 Nova Project, please see "76 Nova Project" tab above.

We are holding this raffle to raise money so that we can begin the next session in the Fall of 2010.  In August, we will select between 7-10 new students from local area high schools.  Joining our team in the next session will be several students that took part in the 76 Nova Project.  They will help mentor the next class as they have become leaders.
